The cheapest and quickest way to travel from Suvarnabhumi International Airport to the city centre.
To take the train, take the elevator to level B1 (located below the ground floor) and follow the signs. There are two main lines that go into the city: the City Line and the Express Line. The City Line costs 15THB per person per trip and stops at every station before it reaches its final stop, Phaya Thai Station. The trip takes 25 minutes. The Express Line costs 100THB per trip and goes straight to Makkasan Station without stopping. Tickets can be purchased at the ticket booth.
To travel to the 2nd IAMM 2012, the easiest way is to take the City Line to Phaya Thai station, then take a taxi-meter car from Phaya Thai station to the conference venue.
Metered Taxi
Suvarnabhumi International Airport is approximately a 30-minute drive via a modern motorway to the city center. Metered taxis are also available outside the terminal on the ground floor level. The journey costs around 400THB per trip, dependent on the traffic.
