Security

Compared with many other cities, Bangkok is considered one of the safest cities in the world. From airports to various hotels and venues, tight security measures equivalent to international standard have been implemented throughout the city. Computer tomography x-ray (CTX) machines have been implemented at the capital's new "Suvarnabhumi Airport" in order to thoroughly check travelers' belongings and baggage. Moreover, in numerous buildings and venues in Bangkok, there are different kinds of security systems to be seen.

Most of them have security guards stationed at a guard desk to monitor electronic security and surveillance devices or to check the credentials of persons entering or leaving the premises.

At night you can stroll along most of the streets in Bangkok, where people are still around, especially in shopping areas. However, if you need any assistance, a police station can be found in every district.

In Thailand, the visitors' safety is the most important thing, you can be assured that it will never be disregarded. Finally, keep in mind that Thai people are always happy to help you, do not hesitate to talk to them.
